Privacy Policy
StockVPN has no account system. There is no email address, no password and no card on file, and you never connect a wallet to us — you send a payment the way you would send one to anyone. There is nothing here to attach a name to.
Information we collect
None that identifies you. There is no sign-up, no email or phone number, and no analytics, advertising or crash-reporting service on this site or in the app. We operate no server that holds an account record for you, so there is no such record to sell, hand over, or lose.
What the app knows
The app generates a WireGuard key on your device when you first open it. The private half never leaves the phone; the public half is what the server registers so the tunnel can exist at all. That key, and the payment that bought time on it, are the whole of what the product knows.
Nothing links either to you. We never learn a name, an email address, or which wallet you sent from.
What the payment reveals
Paying for a plan is one ERC-20 transfer on Robinhood Chain. That transfer is recorded on a public blockchain: the amount, the token, the two addresses and the timestamp are permanently visible to anyone, cannot be deleted, and are outside our control or anyone else’s.
So it is public that some address paid for a plan. What is not public — and not knowable to us — is who that address belongs to, or what was done with the connection it bought.
Third-party services
To price a plan the app reads a stock price feed, and to find your payment it reads a public blockchain node. Both are read directly from your device; we do not proxy those requests.
Because they are direct requests, those providers can see your IP address. That is inherent to reading a public chain and is true of every wallet interface. Providers currently are the public Robinhood Chain RPC and a stock price feed.
The VPN connection
The tunnel is WireGuard. Your device key is generated on your device and never sent to us: we receive a public key, which is not a secret and cannot decrypt anything, plus the tunnel address that key was assigned. The peer is removed from the server the day your plan runs out.
An exit node necessarily sees the traffic leaving it, the way any internet connection is seen by whoever carries it. We keep no connection logs, no traffic logs and no timestamps of who connected when. There is no account record to attach such a log to even if one existed, because there is no account.
This deployment does not have an exit node attached yet, and the app will not take a payment until one is. This page will be updated before that changes.
Storage on your device
The app keeps its key, the plan it bought and the server you picked in its own storage on the phone. Nothing is synced anywhere. Uninstalling clears it; the plan itself survives, because it lives on the chain.
Children
StockVPN is not directed at children under 13, and we knowingly collect no information from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date.
